RA Parliament should pass a bill banning Armenian officials to participate in any discussions discrediting the fact of Genocide, the ANC representative David Shahnazaryan told the journalists on October 16.

The ANC member recalled there is an article in Turkey’s Criminal Code under which not a single Turk can recognize the fact of Genocide, let alone being a member of historians’ sub-commission. According to Shahnazaryan, Armenia should also pass the bill, proving that sub-commission cannot discuss the Armenian Genocide. Shahnazaryan reminded of Serzh Sargsyan’s statement according to which “commission will not consider the Genocide issue.”

The politician handed journalists an appropriate bill, asking to submit it to the RA Parliament.
