An earthquake was recorded off the coast of Chile, 114 kilometers northwest of Copiapo, at 0324 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said, TASS reported.
It measured magnitude 5.9 at the epicenter, with a depth of 11.6 kilometers
No tsunami alert was issued, and there is no information on damage or casualties.
