BAKU. – A passenger committed suicide by throwing himself in the path of train in Azerbaijan’s capital.

The train movement in the line of Danagul-Hazi Aslanov in Baku subway was interrupted. The train was stopped behind the schedule about 20 minutes in the station Elmlar Akademiyasi, APA reports.

The subway attendants warned the passengers that the train will be behind the schedule for several more minutes. They said a passenger committed suicide by throwing himself in the path of train in the station Nizami. Subway police department of the Baku city police office also said the fact of suicide was recorded in the subway station. Ambulances arrived at the site. An investigation is underway.
