Norwegian mining company Equinor has discovered a new oil and gas field in the Barents Sea, according to the company's website.
Drilling operations were carried out safely and efficiently. The new field will be explored together with our partners, we will also consider the further development of this production area, the company said.
They also added that the field contains about 5-10 million barrels of oil. However, the company did not report on the volume of the discovered gas.
