Armenia's Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan on Tuesday received a delegation headed by Bakytzhan Sagintayev, Member of the Board-Minister in charge of Economy and Financial Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
Armenia's Finance Ministry informs Armenian News-NEWS.am that Khachatryan highly appreciated the activities of the EEC in terms of cooperation and expansion of trade and economic relations between the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU).
Sagintayev, in turn, noted that Armenia and EEU have long-term successful cooperation experience, within the framework of which many joint programs and initiatives have been implemented. He welcomed the steps, the short-term and long-term action plans of the Armenian government aimed at improving the business environment and promoting private investments in the current economic situation.
During the meeting, the parties discussed matters related to the drawing of economic and business investments and the development of relations of mutual economic interest, as well as the strengthening of stable partnership ties.
