Exchange prices for gas in Europe are down about 4% at Wednesday's trading and are just above $2,350 per thousand cubic meters, according to data from London's ICE exchange.

The nearest October futures on Europe's largest hub TTF index opened trading at $2456.8 per thousand cubic meters (+0.1%) and rose slightly in the first hour of trading. However, later the quotations shifted to decline. Prices are at $2354.4 (-4.1%). The dynamics of quotes is given from the previous day's estimate price - $2455.2 per thousand cubic meters.

In early March the gas quotations in Europe were renewing their historical maximums for four days in a row due to concerns about the ban on imports of Russian energy resources. The price record of $3,892 per 1,000 cubic meters was reached on March 7.
