The death toll, as a result of an explosion in a coal mine in northern Turkey, has reached 28, AFP reported.
Rescue operations are ongoing because a fire broke out in the mine.
The explosion had occurred Friday evening in the Amasra Muessese Mudurlugu mine in the Bartin Province.
Turkish energy minister Fatih Durmaz said that search operations are continuing to rescue 15 people.
Durmaz added that four or five more people were still under the rubble.
