A minibus carrying members of the district organization of the opposition party had an accident in Ankara, injuring eight people, Halk TV reported.

"A minibus carrying members of the Konya Karatay district organization, who were on their way to Ankara for another Saadet party congress, overturned. As a result of the accident 8 people were injured," the TV channel reported.

The minibus reportedly overturned after another vehicle crashed into it from behind.

"Ambulances took the victims to the city hospital in Ankara. Five have been discharged, treatment for another 3 wounded is ongoing," the channel reported.
