A multi-story building in Batumi, Georgia, is on fire. According to Telegram channel Mash, the fire started at the VOX restaurant, which was located at the top of the building.

The fire then spread downwards through the floors. Residents are being evacuated.

The extinguishing is complicated by the high altitude of the building. According to preliminary reports, there were no casualties.

The fire probably started at the construction site upstairs - no people were there.
