BAKU. – There were seventy cases of human trafficking registered in Azerbaijan for nine months, four criminal groupings were revealed, APA reports quoting parliamentary information on National Coordinator for Combating Human Trafficking.
Seventeen people were arrested, while twenty seven victims set free. Three other people were caught through Interpol. Currently another seventeen people are wanted.
Seventeen victims were sent to Turkey, five to Iran, two to UAE and two to Russia. Three victims out of 27 had no education, while 21 had secondary education. Fourteen victims were at the age of 25-35, 25 women were single.
