ISTANBUL. – A museum displaying the works of Armenian coppersmiths opened in the Copper Museum of Gaziantep, Turkey.

The Museum’s director Ali Atalar said: “Majority of the makers of Ottoman-era handicraft were our Armenian citizens. That is why a great part of my museum’s items is the handicraft of Armenian masters. I would like for our Armenian citizens to see the Armenian masters’ works that are presented in my museum. Turkey’s only museum of the works created by Armenian masters is here.” Atalar also added he is delightfully waiting for all those Armenians who are visiting Gaziantep, Istanbul-Armenians’ Hyetert website informed.
