Five people injured as vehicle rolls down into gorge in Armenia

YEREVAN. – A vehicle rolled down into the gorge in Armenia’s Tavush region on Sunday.

VAZ-21011 vehicle went off traffic and rolled down into the gorge in yet unclear circumstances. The driver was Roman Aramyan, 16, Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations informs ArmeniaNews-NEWS.am.

Rescuers took out the driver, passengers Davit Melikbekyan, 38, Suren Melikbekyan, 30, Rafik Hovakimyan, 44, and Artak Tumanyan, 32. They were injured and hospitalized. A. Tumanyan was taken to Erebuni medical center. Doctors estimate his health condition as of mid stable.
