During his working visit to the Kaliningrad region, Russia, RA President Serzh Sargsyan, accompanied by Kaliningrad Governor Georgy Boos, visited the Yantarny sports and cultural complex, which was constructed by Armenian builders.

At his meeting with the Kaliningrad Governor the Armenian leader pointed out the importance of regional cooperation in strengthening Armenian-Russian strategic partnership. The sides expressed hope that the agreements reached during the visit will produce results in a few months.

President Serzh Sargsyan and Governor Georgy Boos took part in the opening ceremony of the Armenian cultural center constructed by the local Armenian community. The Armenian leader presented the center with textbooks and Armenian –language literature.

Serzh Sargsyan was awarded a Medal of Honor of the region.

The Armenian delegation is to return to Yerevan this evening.
