YEREVAN. - Helipads are planned to be introduced to the number of certified aviation infrastructures in Armenia. The bill, which foresees changes in the Law on Aviation, was presented to the Armenian parliament.

The general director of the General Administration of Armenia’s Civil Aviation Artyom Movsisyan informed that short range flights by helicopters or small airplanes depend on the investor.

During Soviet times small and medium ranged flights took place from Erebuni airport, which is currently in a joint military civilian use.
