In 2025, 17 billion 441 million drams will be allocated from the state budget for the needs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia. Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan stated this during Thursday’s debates on the 2025 state budget draft at the joint meeting of the standing committees of the National Assembly of Armenia.
Compared to 2024, this increase will amount to 378 million drams, or 2.2 percent.
"The increase in the indicators of current expenses [of the Armenian MFA] will be 2.3 percent, or 394 million drams. At the same time, a decrease of 15 million drams will be recorded in capital expenditures [of the ministry]," Hovhannisyan added.
