The Parliament of Georgia has suspended 49 opposition MPs from their parliamentary powers, SOVA reports.
The country now has a parliament with 101 MPs instead of the 150 stipulated in the Georgian constitution.
The ruling Georgian Dream party’s parliamentary faction has remained in legislature along with the parliamentary faction of its satellite party, People's Power, which has pledged to oppose the ruling party.
