The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) will withdraw from South Lebanon within the next 24 hours as part of the ceasefire agreement, but will remain in five strategic positions. The Ynet portal reported.

According to Radio Kan, the IDF will maintain a presence at the five positions “indefinitely” to prevent renewed activity by Shiite Hezbollah militants in southern Lebanon.
