UK Prince Andrew's ex has been slammed for sharing a "sick" response to Virginia Giuffre's death, The Sun reports.

Lady Victoria Hervey, 48, shared a link to the article detailing Virginia's death after she died by suicide.

She added a line to the post: "When lies catch up with you there's no way out."

Responses were quick to flood in online, slamming Victoria as "sick" and saying she was "no lady."

Just two hours after sharing the article and receiving immense backlash, Victoria responded—backtracking from her original post.

"I have taken the decision to pause my posts on the topic of Virginia Giuffre at the this time. Irrespective of circumstances, suicide in anyone at anytime is tragic and in a young mother who has children even more" she said.

Giuffre had previously been reported to have taken her own life on her farm in Australia.

The mom-of-three died by suicide on April 26 aged 41 at her home in Western Australia just weeks after she was treated in an Australian hospital following a bus crash.

Earlier this month, Giuffre posted on social media that she had only days to live after this bus crash.

Giuffre was one of Jeffrey Epstein's most high-profile victims. She alleged that she had been sexually abused by him and his longtime girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell since she was a teenager.

In 2021, Giuffre filed a civil lawsuit against Prince Andrew in a US federal court in New York, alleging that he sexually assaulted her three times when she was 17.

Andrew has repeatedly denied the allegations.

But in 2022, Prince Andrew and Giuffre reached an out-of-court settlement for an undisclosed amount.
