Israel's attack on Iran is an encroachment on the latter's territorial integrity, which will have a negative impact on the region. This was stated at the 2025 APRI Forum Friday by Armen Grigoryan, Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia—and regarding to the escalation of the military tension between Israel and Iran Armenpress reports.

The Security Council chief, speaking about Armenia's conduct in the conditions of that escalation, noted that Yerevan, naturally, began to prepare some time ago and discussed all possible scenarios.

"We have discussed all possible scenarios of military escalation, according to which we have carried out preparatory work, and within their framework we have carried out planning also. According to the scenarios, we have a plan, in accordance with which we will act," Grigoryan emphasized.

According to him, any escalation of tension in the region leads to instability and there can be nothing positive in it.

"This is an encroachment on Iran's territorial integrity, which will naturally have a negative impact on the region. We hope that it will be possible to resolve these issues peacefully as soon as possible," the said the secretary of the Security Council of Armenia.
