Germany plans to increase its financial assistance to Ukraine in 2026 to €11.5 billion ($13.4 billion), Reuters reports, citing budget documents reviewed by its journalists.
Earlier it was planned that €8.5 billion would be allocated in next year’s budget to support Kyiv.
Germany is Ukraine’s largest military aid provider in Europe.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine, Germany has provided around €40 billion in assistance Kyiv.
