The Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes, as follows, in particular: According to information received by the Zhoghovurd daily, a few days before the New Year, the investigative body returned the items confiscated from the residents of the clergy of the Diocese of Aragatsotn [of the Armenian Apostolic Church], except for personal phones and confiscated money.

The Zhoghovurd daily had reported that for about 1 month, lawyers had been raising the alarm that during the searches carried out on October 15, phones, children's tablets, and other personal items belonging not only to the clergy, but also to their family members were confiscated.

The searches had taken place in the homes of a number of clergy of the Diocese of Aragatsotn and civilian employees of the Armenian Apostolic Church. After the incident, the lawyers had noted that the confiscated items included personal and family materials that were unrelated to the criminal case.

And yet, some of the items confiscated months ago have been returned to the relatives of the clergy, but the phones and money have not yet been returned.
