Not a single document with Karabakh conflict possible settlement within Azerbaijan territorial integrity was signed under Levon Ter-Petrosyan, said Alexander Arzumanyan, RA Former FM and representative of oppositional ANC in the course of his Dec.1 meeting with journalists.

RA NA passed a resolution banning officials to sign documents assuming Nagorno-Karabakh in Azerbaijan territory. No one broke the resolution in that period, he underlined.

Commenting on Serzh Sargsyan’s statements on RPA last congress and its Press Secretary Edward Sharmazanov subsequent statements saying that Ter-Petrosyan spoke of possibility for Karabakh to acquire autonomy status within Azerbaijan in his interview with “Komsomolskaya Pravda” in 1992, Arzumanyan said, “I did not see that interview. Shavarsh Kocharyan was speaking of that interview for 10 years long before Sharmazanov, and when I asked him to show it to me, he never did so. However he must have eaten the only copy of the newspaper available in Armenia. Let them show it first and then we’ll see… In 1992, our army was defending Armenian borders, liberating Nagorno-Karabakh and Shushi and opening the Lachin corridor how could the way out as Karabakh being within Azerbaijani territory be considered? It is a mere absurd”.
