“Despite difficulties, we have not had any failed or suspended projects this year. Analyzing the figures for this January-September, we can state that under some of the programs we are reaching last year’s indices, and, under other programs, we are going to exceed them,” stated Karen Yesayan, Director of the Artsakh Investment Fund.
The main field of the Fund’s activities is government mortgage loans and assistance to small and medium-sized businesses.
“We have increased the number of instruments for supporting small and medium-sized businesses, and we have about 40 instruments. The main aim of the mortgage lending program is not only facilitating the resolution of housing problems, but also encouraging housing construction. We can say that housing construction is now more and more often carried out in regional centers,” Yesayan said.
Mortgage lending program is implementing in three fields: construction, purchase and renovation of housing. An annual interest rate of 6% is in effect in the first two fields, and 9% in the third.
