Dec. 3, criminal case hearing on 6 Azerbaijani former policemen gang accused of robbing exchange bureaus and other facilities was held in one of Azeri courts.

According to APA news agency, Mehdi Amiraliyev and Iraj Nasrullayev were sentenced to 15-years’ imprisonment, Jeyhun Garayev, Ismayil Feyziyev — to 12-years, Seyran Bagirov — to 10-years and Rauf Rzayev — to 4-years’ imprisonment.

The band was attacking exchange offices from 1998- to 2008, committing over 20 crimes in various regions of Baku.
