YEREVAN.- Member of the opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) Hrant Bagratyan said his possible nomination as a presidential candidate will be discussed during the upcoming congress of the opposition bloc.

The congress will be held on Saturday. Bagratyan’s possible nomination is on the agenda, politician wrote on his Facebook.

However, Bagratyan said he would withdraw his candidacy in case ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan is nominated. At the same time, former PM and opposition member said he suspends active cooperation with ANC.

Hrant Bagratyan confirmed the report talking to Armenian News-NEWS.am reporter.
