YEREVAN. – Around 30 former employees of Armavia company held an action near president’s residence on Wednesday demanding their seven months’ salary (photo).
The employees of Armavia company said they had sent a letter to President Serzh Sargsyan, but the answer was sent to Armavia. The owner of the company Mikhail Baghdasarov said those who signed the letter would be the last to get their salary.
After action near president’s residence, they headed to the main office of the company.
As reported earlier, former pilots, flight attendants, and aviation engineers of Armavia Airline Company said that the company had not paid their seven months’ salary. Moreover, social payments were not made in their name ever since 2011. They received the salary, but, then found out that the company had not made social security payments from 2011 to November 2013.
