YEREVAN. – Armenia and Switzerland are actively working on renewable energy projects, the President of Swiss National Council Dominique de Buman during Armenia-Switzerland business meeting said in Yerevan on Monday.

According to him, the dam is already being built in the southern Armenia by using Swiss technologies.

“The dam will be completed by the next year,” Buman added.

As for the solar energy, Switzerland has decided to abandon nuclear energy and to switch to solar energy, which requires solar panels.

“These panels are produced mainly in China. And, based on conditions that exist in Armenia, I think we will be able to cooperate on science, technology and production, so that these panels are produced in Armenia as well,” he concluded.
