A memorial service for the legendary Charles Aznavour will be held on Friday at Les Invalides in Paris, RIA Novosti reported referring to the Parisien newspaper.
Aznavour’s family opposes national farewell ceremony.
Aznavour died on October 1 at his home in southern France. An autopsy revealed that the death occurred in the wake of an acute edema caused by cardiorespiratory failure.
