YEREVAN. -- On 26 March at around 16:30, the units of Azerbaijani Armed Forces attempted to carry out engineering works in the neutral territory between the combat positions of the northeastern sector of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border, in the vicinity of Berdavan village, aiming to push positions closer to Armenian trenches, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.
Ignoring the warnings of the Armenian frontline units, the Azerbaijani forces opened fire toward the Armenian military positions. The Armenian side opened response fire, silencing the adversary and suspending the engineering works.
No one was injured from the Armenian side.
