The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan (MOD) continues to hastily invent Azeri names for Armenian villages.

A statement disseminated by the Azerbaijani media shows that it is not the first time that the Azerbaijani MOD has used fictitious Azerbaijani toponyms, causing even more confusion in the already tense situation.

According to the MOD of Azerbaijan, "On April 3, at 23:00, the Armenian armed forces units subjected to fire the positions of the Azerbaijan Army in the direction of Aghdam settlement of Tovuz region from the positions of the state border in Musurskend settlement of Tovuzgala region."

It is not difficult to deduce that Azerbaijan has now decided to name "Tovuzgala" the Berd region of Tavush Province of Armenia.

The situation with the name "Musurskend" is even worse. As a result of "not overseeing" by the Azerbaijani propaganda machine, the Russian-language section of the internet search engine does not have even the slightest reference as to which Armenian settlement is so intricately called "Musurskend." It may be about Movsesgegh village of Armenia, and this is in line with the toponyms hastily invented by Azerbaijan.

It is noteworthy that although Azerbaijan uses its "own" toponyms, it does not dare to claim which village or region is "occupied" by Armenia.
