The Azerbaijani authorities are ready to organize a trip to Karabakh for UN representatives. Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev said in a phone conversation with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
“On September 26, Ilham Aliyev had a phone conversation with Antony Blinken. It was emphasized that Azerbaijan is ready to organize a trip for the UN resident coordinator accredited in the country to the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan in the near future,” the presidential press service reported.
Aliyev emphasized that work is underway to ensure the rights of the Armenian population of Karabakh in accordance with Azerbaijani legislation and the country’s international obligations.
