French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, who is currently in Yerevan, visited the National Center for Burns and Dermatology along with Armenian Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan. Their purpose was to visit individuals who were injured during an explosion in Nagorno-Karabakh and provide humanitarian aid to the hospital.

During her visit, Colonna announced their intention to transport four patients to France for further treatment. She emphasized that her visit represents France's friendship, support, and solidarity with Armenia during these challenging times.

Colonna expressed France's commitment to stand by Armenia, especially in light of the worsening situation in Nagorno-Karabakh and the ongoing blockade, which was a violation of international law. France has already decided to increase its support for Armenia to 12.5 million euros to assist those forcibly displaced from their homes after Azerbaijani aggression.
