Four severely wounded from Nagorno-Karabakh will be transferred from Armenia’s capital Yerevan to France this weekend for treatment. This was announced by Catherine Colonna, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, at her joint press conference with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan Tuesday evening in Yerevan.

"As for the emergency medical aid that we [i.e. France] immediately sent to Armenia after the explosion in [Karabakh capital] Stepanakert, I pledge to you, Mr. Minister, that this assistance will continue and, if necessary, be provided again and again.

"It is a commitment of humanity and solidarity, and it is this commitment that makes us stand with you; we will continue this assistance. And this Saturday and Sunday, four severely wounded people [from Karabakh] will be transferred from Yerevan to France, who will receive treatment in French hospitals. And I thank my colleague, the French minister of health, who is participating with me in these actions," the French FM noted.
