YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ministry of Emergeny Situations (MES) received information, on Wednesday at 3:37am, to the effect that a man had drowned in a pool of capital city Yerevan’s Kanaker Hydro Power Plant, and that rescuers were needed.   

The rescuers on duty at the Crisis Management Center and the Rescue Forces Department plus an underwater diver were dispatched to the scene, MES press service informs.     

And at 5:43am, the rescuers removed from the pool the dead body of Yerevan resident, 54-year-old Romeo Harutyunyan.
