YEREVAN. – A VAZ 2107-model car and a KAMAZ-model truck collided at Armenia’s Ashtarak Highway, in the vicinity of Vahakni Residential Community nearby capital city Yerevan, on Tuesday at around 12:03am.

As a result of the collision, VAZ 2107’s driver, Artak Tadevosyan, 31, died on the spot, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.      

A fire and rescue team and a special rescue squad from MES Rescue Forces Department were dispatched to the scene.   

The fire and rescue team cooled the area and was on duty there until 3:27am. And the rescuers removed the victim’s body from the vehicle.
