MOSCOW. – During its session on Thursday, the Russian Federation (RF) Government will examine the draft proposal on making changes in the agreement on lifting double taxation of income and property, which was signed between RF and Armenia in 1996.   

The objective of this agreement was to develop cooperation, lift double taxation of income and property, and prevent tax evasion and tax discrimination, the respective statement informs, which is cited by RIA Novosti News Agency of Russia.     

The specific taxes that are covered by this agreement are the profit taxes of enterprises and organizations, the income taxes of individuals, the property taxes of enterprises, and the property taxes of individuals.
