YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan on Wednesday received a World Bank (WB) delegation on climate change, which was led by Nicholas Ahuisus.  

The Minister underscored the WB’s attention shown toward Armenia in the situations that are awaited as a consequence climate change.  

In his turn, Ahuisus presented the results of their studies, which were conducted in Armenia and which will be examined during Thursday workshop.    

Separately, the “National Awareness and Mutual Accordance” workshop kicked off on the same day in Armenia’s capital, Yerevan.

Agriculture Minister Sergo Karapetyan delivered opening remarks at the event and specifically said: “The consequences of the effects of climate change are collective for the countries in our region, and it will be possible to face these challenges solely through joint efforts.”
