YEREVAN. – The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will try to have a higher-level matter on their agenda, such as a meeting between the presidents of both countries, European Integration NGO Director Karen Bekaryan stated, during a press conference on Thursday, reflecting on the upcoming meeting between the FMs of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

In his words, after the Ramil Safarov case several matters are becoming very actual, “which may refer to dissension, racism, etc.,” Bekaryan noted.

Also, he maintained that the Azerbaijanis possess a great wish to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh question with a “yes” and a “no” variant. “Armenia has not withdrawn from the [peace] talks, but Armenia’s speech has grown and there is no need to substantiate this speech because Azerbaijan has given all those grounds on a [silver] platter,” the analyst noted.

As per Karen Bekaryan, it is only natural that Armenia put forward that there is a matter of additional security for Karabakh, and this also refers to the legal grounds.
