YEREVAN. – Ever since the very first day of this four-day session of the Armenian National Assembly (NA), many at the parliament were asking the whereabouts of the coalition Government’s junior member Orinats Yerkir (Rule of Law) Party (RLP) NA Faction leader Heghine Bisharyan, who usually does not miss the NA sessions for unjustifiable reasons, Haykakan Zhamanak daily reports.   

“The four-day [session] ended, but Bisharyan did not show up to the NA at all. [But] Our reporter learned that Heghine Bisharyan has traveled to China together with RLP Chairman Arthur Baghdasaryan.    

Baghdasaryan, however, went to China as the National Security Council [NSC] Secretary, and not as the RLP Chairman, and he took his fellow party member Bisharyan to China as a member of the NSC delegation.

Our reporter tried to formally ascertain from the RLP as to where Bisharyan is and under what status and why has she gone to China. The RLP telephones, however, were silent,” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
