YEREVAN.- Judicial reform has reached a qualitative new level. The EU remains Armenoa’s main partner in this field, Justice Minsiter Hrayr Tovmasyan told reporters on Wednesday.

Tovmasyan said a couple of years ago it was impossible to imagine that one can register an entity in five minutes.

“Transition to an electronic system allows our citizens to register without paperwork and even without leaving the office. Of course, it increases the risk of corruption, but we are also working hard to minimize them,” the Minister said.

He stressed that the considerable part of almost 60 million euros allocated buy the EU goes to the judicial reform. At the same time, Tovmasyan expressed confidence that Armenia will have an entire new level of the judicial system in the near future.
