YEREVAN.- Any decision made by Prosperous Armenia Party is their internal matter, spokesperson for Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Eduard Sharmazanov told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Earlier, Prosperous Armenia Party said they would neither participate in presidential elections, nor support any of the candidates.

Sharmazanov said his party respects decisions made by other political forces. Asked about Gagik Tsarukyan’s statement, RPA representative said he is not commenting on the decisions of other political forces and their leaders. Incumbent president will neither win nor lose, if other candidates appear, he said.

Sharmazanov called incumbent president “an active and the most reasonable politician.”

“Armenia needs such president in the coming five years,” he emphasized.
