YEREVAN. – The current situation in Armenia resembles a chamomile policy; “he loves me, he loves me not,” “will he run [in next year’s presidential elections], will he not?” And the respective talks do not apply to opposition Republic Party and its Political Board member Suren Abrahamyan. The latter himself stated this during a press conference on Thursday, and he added that the welfare of the state and of the people does not depend on this.       

To the query as to whether party Political Board Chairman—and former PM—Aram Sargsyan will run for president, Abrahamyan responded that the answer to this question will be given during the Republic Party congress that will be convened on December 21.
