YEREVAN. – Opposition bloc Armenian National Congress National Assembly Faction leader Levon Zurabyan, and former FM and Prosperous Armenia Party MP Vartan Oskanian petitioned to the Prosecutor’s Office Tuesday with a formal letter.

They demand that the person, who had recorded their conversation in a capital city Yerevan café, be found and brought to account.

“We propose that a criminal case be filed in connection with the unlawful wiretapping and the posting on social networks of our conversation, [and] the persons responsible for this crime be found and punished,” the aforementioned letter of petition reads.

To note, the recording of this conversation, which caused serious debates in Armenia’s political arena for the past several days, is removed from the Internet.
