YEREVAN.- Former Armenia’s Premier Hrant Bagratyan said he is not striving for power. Despite his unwillingness to get power, Bagratyan was nominated as a presidential candidate form Freedom party.
Speaking during Monday congress of Freedom party, Bagratyan said there is a necessity to accelerate and clarify the processes.
Bagratyan is hopeful the opposition Armenian National Congress bloc will support him.
Last week Hrant Bagratyan voiced an intention to run for president. He promised to withdraw his candidacy in case ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan is nominated
