YEREVAN. – The Armenian News-NEWS.am presents own version of top ten important events in Armenian economy.

1. Armenian currency (Armenian dram) has devaluated, making about 9 percent.

2. Establishment of Free Economic Zone, which has no serious influence on Armenia yet, but it is a prospective project.

3. Macro-economic stability - Armenia managed to achieve it registering increase by 7 percent.

4. Launching major investment projects – construction of the North-South road and Meghri HPP.

5. International integration – this year was unprecedented in the level of succeeding in integration of world organizations as well as intensification of arguments on them.

6. Armenian Nuclear Power Plant exploitation period was prolonged by another ten years.

7. Environmental activity.

8. Doing Business, where Armenia’s credit increased by 18 points (Doing Business-2013)

9. Armavia-Zvartsnots dispute – Armavia national carrier has stopped for several times flights due to problems with the Zvartnots international airport.

10.  Agricultural year was successful.
