YEREVAN. – Together with local tourism companies, the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) is representing the country at the Vakantiebeurs 2013 international tourism fair being held in Utrecht, the Netherlands, from Tuesday to Sunday.

Around 1,400 representatives are participating in this prestigious event this year, the NCFA Public Relations Office informs.

The Armenian stand at the exhibition is receiving an unprecedented interest. 

To note, a group of journalists from the leading BNN television company of the Netherlands visited Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh last year, and at the invitation of the NCFA. The crew made a special film on the Armenian heritage, which was broadcast on the “Channel 3 Travels” program of the aforesaid TV company.

Also, the Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) is expected to launch its Yerevan-Amsterdam-Yerevan regular flights, via Kyiv, this spring. These flights, which will be conducted four times a week, will serve the growing tourist flow.
