YEREVAN. – Following a nearly one-week “fall,” the exchange rate of the American national currency rose once again at the financial market of Armenia.  

The dollar’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 406.50/$1 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Thursday; this is a 0.12-percent—or an AMD 0.5—increase from the previous trading session on Wednesday. 

Thursday’s sales totaled a mere $650,000 at the stock exchange.

The dollar’s buying exchange rate rose at an average of AMD 1, at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia, reaching all the way to AMD 406/$1 at some exchange offices. Its minimum selling exchange rate is at  AMD 408/$1.
