YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police summed up Wednesday the results of the activities being carried out to guarantee the accuracy of the information being processed in the national population register.

The law enforcement officers visited the apartments of 15,308 citizens that have received new homes, with state assistance and as compensation, As a result, and as of Tuesday, 1,377 of these citizens were registered at the addresses of these apartments, Police Department of Media informs.

Also, and owing to the explanatory work conducted among the relatives of deceased citizens, the personal data on 1,019 deceased were removed from the voters’ register. Furthermore, those addresses where ten or more people are registered were set apart. 

In addition, the police officers paid visits to 11,924 addresses, 817 of which had no residents while 278 were addresses with no proprietors, buildings without addresses, institution-enterprises, or public facilities.
