YEREVAN. – In connection with Army Day and with the decree by Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan, several military servicemen and war veterans of the Armenian Armed Forces were awarded with Armenia’s medals and orders and were conferred military ranks.     

The recipients were honored with these awards in recognition of their outstanding services rendered in army-building and combat-readiness of Armenia’s military troops, and their bravery and personal valor in the protection of the Motherland.     

During the respective award ceremony, which was held Friday at the Presidential Palace, Sargsyan congratulated the recipients and presented the high national awards, the President’s Press Office informs.
