An EU delegation that arrived in Tbilisi to establish official cooperation with Georgia under the Partnership for Mobility program held meeting in Tbilisi on February 16.

The Georgian side informed the EU delegation of the migration situation in the country. The sides also discussed the initiatives and an action plan under the program.

Following the meeting, Georgian Deputy State Minister for European Integration Tamara Beruchashvili stated that the cooperation will facilitate Georgian citizens’ legal activities – work, education and training — in European states.

Beruchashvili pointed out that Georgia’s active cooperation with the EU under the Partnership for Mobility program is one of the most important components of liberalizing the visa regime with the EU in the future.
